Some of us have been here for a thousand years it seems and are ready to be out. But are we really? Are the seniors this year ready to step out into the "real world?" Some seniors have become accustom to their high school and are not ready to leave the nest and fly yet. We have gotten used to the rules regulations of high school, but are we really ready for the new rules that are going to be thrown at us?
Julissa, I really agree with you. I think some of the seniors will definately have difficulty stepping in to the real world because some seniors still depend on their parents to get up in the morning. So what are they goning to do when mom is a 1000 miles away? How are they gonna get up? I think some of us need to grow up and just be less dpendent and more mature in our everyday routines. I think once that happens some seniors will be more prepared for the real world.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe any of us are truly ready for college. We are so accustom to the insanity and restrictions of High School, that college seems outlandish

There are aspects of highschool that I definately will NOT miss. However, I agree with what you're saying Julissa! Hopefully I'm not the only one still worrying about getting a license, work and college applications. Like Samone said, being away from home will definately take some adjusting. : (

Very interesting point. I guess having being put through YEARS of school, Seniors may find that their most difficult task is the first MOMENT they step foot outside of school, metaphorically speaking.
